Bernhard Hainz is partner at CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz and head of the team for employment and pensions law. As one of Austria’s leading specialists he advises companies from the public and private sectors in all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law, including the negotiation of collective agreements and social plans with workers’ councils or trade unions, litigation involving workers’ councils and individual employees and all areas of pension issues, such as legal disputes over the performance of funds. Bernhard is member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the European Employment Lawyers’ Association (EELA) and the International Association for Defense Counsels (IADC). Bernhard is co-author of the standard commentary on Austrian labour law (MANZ) and of the handbook M & A (Linde Verlag), editor of the handbook ‘Labour Law in CEE’ (MANZ) and author of many articles on labour law.
