Carmen Thornton studied law at the University of Vienna, where she specialised in commercial and banking law. While still a student, she gained professional experience in a renowned Viennese law firm active on an international level and rounded off her education with stays in Warsaw and Brussels. As an associate at CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz, Carmen Thornton primarily focuses on the areas of mergers & acquisitions, banking & finance and corporate law. She is fluent in German and English and has good command of Italian as well as basic knowledge of Russian.
