Đorđe Popović joined CMS Belgrade in 2011 after having worked with two reputable regional law firms for five years. He obtained his master’s degree from Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn and Securities Law specialist degree from University of Belgrade. Đorđe is a well-experienced corporate attorney who has advised in a number of prominent transactions in the CEE region, including mergers, acquisitions, takeovers (friendly and hostile), buyouts, privatizations and joint ventures. In parallel to his practical work, Đorđe has been dedicated to research and managed to publish relevant papers in Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the UK. He is fluent in Serbian and English, and understands German and Russian.
