Egon Engin-Deniz is partner and heads up the Intellectual Property and Media team of CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz and Head of the PAM European CMS Group. He has extensive expertise in contentious and non contentious trademark-, patent-, copyright including conditional access law, distribution and unfair competition matters. He advises leading international and Austrian clients across a wide range of industry sectors including media, sports, agencies, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, biotechnology, IT and consumer products. Egon Engin-Deniz is among Europe’s leading specialists for the coordination of complex multi-jurisdiction litigation. He is a speaker on both national and international conventions in trademark and copyright law. Egon Engin-Deniz is delegate to the International Trademark Association (INTA), the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) and past Chairman of the MARQUES Cyberspace Team (the European Brand Owners Association).He is author of the recently published Commentary on Austrian Trademark law (2010), the news access right (2008) and the Commentary on Austrian Trademark law (2005).
