CMS number one in M&A transactions in Europe and CEE

This year again, CMS has confirmed its top position in the M&A sector. Bloomberg has rated CMS as number one not just in one but in two M&A rankings: CMS leads the Europe and CEE rankings in terms of quantity of transactions it advised on in 2010. And Acquisitions Monthly has elected CMS as Mid-Market Legal Advisor of the Year once again.

According to Bloomberg’s M&A Legal Advisory League Tables, CMS advised on a total of 245 deals across Europe and 34 transactions in CEE last year. This made CMS the number one in terms of M&A transaction quantity in both regions. The top position of CMS in the M&A sector is also reflected in the fact that it was chosen as 2011 Mid-Market Legal Advisor of the Year by Acquisitions Monthly, the leading M&A journal published by Reuters Professional Publishing.
